About ToolKivo
ToolKivo is an independent collection of practical browser-based tools. It is built for people who need a quick answer without creating an account, installing software, or uploading private inputs.
What ToolKivo provides
The site includes calculators, unit converters, random selection tools, timers, tests, and text utilities. Each tool has a focused purpose, usable controls, examples, an explanation of its method, and relevant limitations.
How the tools work
Calculations and interactive actions run in JavaScript on your device. ToolKivo uses Cloudflare to deliver the website globally, but values entered into tools are not intentionally sent to ToolKivo servers.
Accuracy and corrections
Calculation engines are tested against known values and boundary cases. No general-purpose tool can cover every professional rule or local convention, so important results should be checked independently. Corrections and clear bug reports are welcome.
Editorial and testing process
Calculation tests check known answers and failure cases, including invalid dates, division by zero and unit conversions. English and Japanese pages selected for advertising are checked for usable controls, reproducible examples, current explanations and limitations. Other tools and translations remain available without advertising while their content is reviewed. A passing calculation test does not establish that a translation is natural or that every professional rule is covered.
How the site is funded
Google AdSense is configured only on selected English and Japanese tool pages. Ads can appear when approved by the provider. Advertising does not change calculation results; input controls and primary results remain separate from ads.
Our design principles
Tools should be fast, accessible on mobile devices, understandable without specialist knowledge, and honest about assumptions. We avoid requiring accounts or collecting tool inputs when the task can be completed locally.
