Area is length multiplied by width, so both measurements must use the same unit. The result is then converted: one square meter is about 10.7639104167 square feet, and one square foot is 0.09290304 square meters. Choose feet or meters before entering, and convert inches or centimeters first, so 10 feet 6 inches becomes 10.5 feet and 320 centimeters becomes 3.2 meters.
